Student Lead Conference
Student lead conferences are good for my education because they make me do the work instead of my parents hearing just what the teachers say. I can say what I learned and they also let you look back at projects and realize what you could have done better. My last student lead conference was two weeks ago. I was really nervous, but when I was up there I realized that it was fun because you are there with your parents and your teachers and you can talk about your projects and grades. You also talk about yourself. One tip I have for other students is to have a folder with everything in order because if you are out of order it's hard for your teacher to grade you. After that SLC, I talk to my parents more about projects and grades. SLC's also make you proud of your projects, homework, etc. They make you feel proud because you think "I did that" and you feel good about your work.
